Last time I played Final Fantasy XV, I was reminded of how much I liked the food serving sequences. So, I decided to create my own using Unreal Engine 5.4.3 with hardware Lumen and RealityCapture. Believe it or not, the most challenging part of this project for me was actually cooking the food.
I did the retopology in Maya and modeled the plate and glass in 3ds Max. The table, napkin, and bread are from Megascans, while the cutlery came from a free model bank. I slightly modified their shapes, used better materials from Megascans, and engraved text on the knife to give the blade a less flat appearance.
